What are we learning this week?

  • We are studying ancient Greece and Rome this week, focusing onthe roots of democracy.

  • We are beginning a novel called Letters From Rifka.  It is written based on a true story about a little girl fleeing Russia at the end of WWI.

  • Quiz on European countries and physical features.

Important Dates:

  • Toys for Tots is in progress.  Please bring unwrapped toys for those in need.  We are having a team contest!

  • Quiz on Thursday, December 4th: Label European countries and physical features

REMINDERS

  • Please check your child's planner and sign it each Friday.  We are going to be taking a grade on binders and planners beginning the third six-weeks.

  • If you can, we are in need of index cards for our classroom. If every child were to bring one or two packages, we would have enough for the year. Thank you for your help!

Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
